QuoteIQ vs Urable for mobile detailers.

QuoteIQ wins on entry price. Urable makes a stronger case for detailing-specific workflows, unlimited users, and lower-cost customer self-booking. The right choice depends on the plan containing your complete workflow.

SHORT VERDICT

QuoteIQ for the lean start. Urable for the detailing system.

DETAILER STACK VERDICTNo universal winner.

QuoteIQ is easier to justify when one person needs estimates, invoices, an internal calendar, payments, and AI tools at the lowest fixed cost. Urable becomes more compelling when the business needs detailing-specific records, unlimited users, or customer online booking before a $299 tier.

  • Solo and budget-first: QuoteIQ Essentials
  • Detailing-specific team workflow: Urable Express or Pro
  • Customer self-booking: Urable Pro is the lower published tier
  • General home-service automation: QuoteIQ Pro or Elite deserves comparison

The decision should not be based only on QuoteIQ at $29.99 versus Urable at $70. Compare the plans that contain the action you cannot operate without. A solo operator who schedules every job manually sees a different winner than a crew that needs online booking, QuickBooks, and several user accounts.

PRICING

QuoteIQ starts lower. Urable compresses team costs.

QuoteIQ publishes five monthly tiers: Essentials at $29.99 for one user, Beginner at $74.99 for two users, Pro at $149.99 for four users, Elite at $299 for ten users, and Max at $699 with unlimited users. QuoteIQ advertises a 14-day trial with a card required, no contract, and two months free on annual billing.

Urable publishes Express at $70, Pro at $110, and Enterprise at $183 per month in the United States. All three include unlimited users. Urable says there are no contracts and accounts can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.

SOLO COST

QuoteIQ can be much cheaper

If Essentials covers the complete workflow, its $29.99 fixed cost is less than half of Urable Express. Do not upgrade for features you cannot tie to saved time or more completed jobs.

TEAM COST

Urable removes per-user math

Unlimited users on Express can change the comparison when an owner, technician, office assistant, and manager all need access. Confirm roles and permissions during a trial.

BOOKING COST

The plan ladder reverses

If customer self-booking is mandatory, Urable lists it at $110 on Pro while QuoteIQ lists InstaQuote and InstaSchedule at $299 on Elite.

ANNUAL COST

Test monthly first

An annual discount should follow a successful workflow test. It should not be the reason to keep a system that creates manual work or locks important data away.

LEADS AND BOOKING

Internal calendars are not the same as self-booking.

QuoteIQ includes scheduling in its core feature set, but the public plan matrix places InstaQuote and InstaSchedule on Elite and Max. Those tools are the customer-facing path for automated quoting and scheduling. Lower tiers can still organize jobs internally without offering the same self-service experience.

Urable Express includes direct scheduling and multiple calendars. Pro adds custom lead forms and online booking, along with long-term follow-up and drag-and-drop rescheduling. For a mobile detailer who wants customers to request or reserve work online, Urable Pro has the lower published plan price.

Ask one precise question in every demo

Can a customer choose vehicle details, service, mobile address, travel area, add-ons, deposit, and a truly available time without an employee rebuilding the appointment?

Whichever tool you choose, configure travel buffers and weather rules with our mobile detailing scheduling guide.

VEHICLES AND INSPECTIONS

Urable speaks vehicle care more directly.

Urable publicly positions itself for mobile and shop-based vehicle-care businesses. Its feature table includes VIN scanning, routing, vehicle service records, photo inspections, estimates, invoices, recurring jobs, payments, and customer communication across its plans. Enterprise adds video inspections and more customizable workflows.

QuoteIQ is broader. Beginner adds QuoteIQ Cam for photo and video reporting, plus e-signatures, review tools, and advanced analytics. That can document condition and completed work, but the product is not limited to detailing and may require more configuration of vehicle-specific fields and package rules.

  • Choose Urableif native vehicle-care structure and team access are central to daily operations.
  • Choose QuoteIQif a broader contractor workflow, AI tools, and a lower solo entry price matter more than industry-specific defaults.
  • Test bothwith pre-existing damage, before-and-after photos, customer approval, add-ons, and a return visit.

TEAMS, ACCOUNTING, AND AUTOMATION

The second employee changes the comparison.

Urable includes unlimited users on Express, Pro, and Enterprise, while QuoteIQ limits users by tier until Max. User count is not the whole team story: permissions, technician pay, commission rules, assignment, route visibility, and office access should all be tested before migration.

For accounting, QuoteIQ lists QuickBooks Online beginning on Pro at $149.99. Urable lists QuickBooks integration on Pro at $110. QuoteIQ Pro also adds email and text automation, in-app calling and texting, job costing, and a website contact form. Urable Pro adds long-term follow-up, profit analytics, document storage, and online booking. These are not identical bundles, so the lower price is not automatically the better value.

Urable Enterprise adds recurring billing, video inspections, commission tracking, line-item scheduling, customizable workflows, and an account executive. QuoteIQ Elite adds route optimization, pipelines, inventory, campaigns, EmployeeHub, InstaQuote, and InstaSchedule. A small team should buy either tier only after naming the manual work each feature replaces.

WHO SHOULD CHOOSE EACH

Choose from the operator profile.

Choose QuoteIQ when
  • You are solo and the $29.99 Essentials workflow is enough
  • You want estimates, invoices, internal scheduling, payments, and AI at a low entry price
  • You serve detailing plus other contractor or home-service work
  • You can justify the exact higher tier needed for automation or inspections
Choose Urable when
  • You want a system designed around vehicle-care businesses
  • Multiple users need access without per-user plan limits
  • Customer online booking at the $110 Pro tier is important
  • Vehicle records, routing, inspections, recurring jobs, and team workflow matter together

Our practical recommendation: a new solo operator should test QuoteIQ Essentials against Urable Express. A crew that requires customer self-booking should compare QuoteIQ Elite against Urable Pro rather than comparing the two entry plans. Run the same five sample jobs before importing real customers.

METHODOLOGY

What this comparison can and cannot tell you.

We mapped each vendor's official US pricing and feature matrix to the same mobile-detailing workflow: lead, vehicle and package estimate, approval, schedule, route context, condition documentation, payment, review request, and repeat service. Plan-level differences were prioritized over broad marketing claims.

We did not create paid accounts, migrate customer data, process a live payment, measure app performance, or contact support. Those observations require hands-on testing and are not presented here.

QuoteIQ Essentials and Urable Express are the right starting test for many operators. If self-booking is mandatory, compare QuoteIQ Elite with Urable Pro. The feature you actually need determines the real price.
