QUICK VERDICT
Strong starter CRM. Expensive self-booking.
Best for a solo detailer who wants estimates, invoices, a calendar, and online payments in one mobile-first system without paying for a large field-service platform.
- Best entry point: Essentials at $29.99/month
- Best practical detailing tier: Beginner at $74.99/month
- Biggest limitation: Self-quoting and self-booking require Elite at $299/month
- Trial: 14 days; payment card required
QuoteIQ is a broad home-service CRM rather than a vehicle-first detailing platform. That distinction matters. Its entry plan can replace separate tools for estimates, invoicing, basic scheduling, and payment collection. The Beginner plan adds the photo and review workflow many detailers actually need. But operators who expect customers to configure a package, receive a quote, choose a live time slot, and enter the calendar without a phone call need the Elite plan.
Our bottom line: QuoteIQ is compelling for a new one-van business when the main problem is administrative organization. It is less obviously the value winner when automated online booking is the main requirement. At that point, compare the $299 Elite plan with detailing-specific alternatives before committing.

WHAT IT IS
A field-service CRM that can fit detailing.
QuoteIQ combines customer records, estimates, invoices, scheduling, payments, communications, photos, business analytics, and AI-assisted tools. It runs on iPhone, iPad, Android, and a full browser application, with account data synchronized between devices.
That gives a mobile detailer one operational record from first inquiry through final payment. It does not, however, automatically make every plan a complete detailing system. Vehicle-specific package logic must be configured, photo reports begin above Essentials, and customer self-quoting and online self-scheduling are reserved for Elite and Max.
DETAILING WORKFLOW
How QuoteIQ handles a mobile job.
- 1Capture the customer
Create a lead or customer record, then organize services in a price book. Elite users can expose InstaQuote and InstaSchedule to customers; lower plans require more owner involvement.
- 2Build the estimate
Use standard, options, package, or quick estimates. For detailing, package estimates are the natural fit for good/better/best service menus and condition-based add-ons.
- 3Approve and schedule
Customers can approve estimates digitally. The internal calendar is available on every plan, while direct customer self-scheduling starts on Elite.
- 4Document the vehicle
QuoteIQ Cam supports inspection and job reports from Beginner upward. This is where a detailer can attach pre-existing-damage and before/after records to the job.
- 5Invoice, collect, retain
Convert an estimate to an invoice, accept digital payment, and record the transaction. Beginner adds Review Multiplier; Pro adds automated email and text follow-up plus job costing.
“Scheduling included” does not mean “customers can book themselves.” QuoteIQ includes an owner-operated calendar on Essentials, but InstaQuote and InstaSchedule are Elite features.
KEY FEATURES
What matters most to a detailer.
Estimates and packages
All plans include four estimate formats, a price book, electronic delivery, and estimate-to-invoice conversion. The real setup task is building vehicle-size rules and add-ons without creating an unmanageable menu.
QuoteIQ Cam
Inspection reports and job reports begin on Beginner. That makes Beginner a more realistic minimum than Essentials for businesses selling paint correction, coatings, or any service where condition documentation protects both parties.
Payments and financing
Online payments are available across plans through Stripe. QuoteIQ also advertises consumer financing through Stripe-supported buy-now-pay-later providers, but processing availability and fees vary.
Review requests
Review Multiplier begins on Beginner. It can reduce the manual follow-up after payment, but a business should still use neutral, policy-compliant language rather than pressure only happy customers for reviews.
Automation and accounting
Email/text automation, in-app calling and texting, job costing, and QuickBooks Online integration begin on Pro. Those are useful growth features, but they more than double the Beginner monthly price.
Booking, routing, and teams
InstaQuote, InstaSchedule, route optimization, dispatching, inventory, and EmployeeHub begin on Elite. This is the first tier that resembles a fully automated multi-van operating system.
AI tools are offered through monthly IQ Credits. Credits reset each billing cycle and unused credits do not roll over. Treat AI as a metered convenience, not an unlimited feature included at the same depth on every plan.

- Full mobile and browser access rather than a desktop-only back office
- Data export is listed on every plan
- Customer self-quoting and self-booking require the $299 Elite plan

TRIAL, CANCELLATION, AND DATA
Read this before entering a card.
QuoteIQ advertises a 14-day trial on every plan, with a credit or debit card required. The pricing page says subscriptions can be changed or canceled, while the current terms instruct direct web subscribers to contact support, call, or use in-app chat; App Store subscriptions must be canceled through Apple or Google.
Cancel before the renewal date if you do not intend to continue. Current terms say renewals are not refunded for partial or unused periods. QuoteIQ also states that data can be exported and that account data remains available after cancellation until deletion is requested. A sensible trial uses sample customers first, then tests export before importing a full client list.
USER FEEDBACK
Positive mobile signal, thin independent coverage.
Google Play displayed a rating around 4.4 stars with roughly 1,150 reviews when checked. That is a useful sign that QuoteIQ has a meaningful Android user base, but a store average does not tell us whether the reviewers run detailing businesses or use the same plan features.
Independent B2B review coverage is much thinner. G2 showed only one review at the time of research, and that review criticized bugs and support. One report is far too small a sample to establish a pattern, but it is enough reason to test scheduling behavior, mobile reliability, and support response during the free trial instead of relying on the vendor’s combined review headline.
We do not convert vendor testimonials, app-store averages, or a single negative report into a product score. The right conclusion is that QuoteIQ appears widely used on mobile, while independent trade-specific evidence remains limited.
QUOTEIQ ALTERNATIVES
Compare the workflow, not the logo.
Start here when vehicle records, detailing-specific operations, and a platform designed around automotive care matter more than QuoteIQ’s low entry price.
Consider it when vehicle estimating and before/after job documentation are the primary need, especially before buying a broader CRM.
Compare it when you want a mature general field-service platform, a larger integration ecosystem, or a more established multi-service operating model.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
QuoteIQ questions, answered.
Is QuoteIQ good for mobile detailing?+
It can be. Essentials is a strong low-cost option for estimates, invoices, an internal calendar, and payments. Beginner is a better fit when you need inspection photos and review requests. It is less price-competitive if customer self-booking is mandatory because that begins on Elite.
How much does QuoteIQ cost?+
Published monthly prices checked August 8, 2026 were $29.99 for Essentials, $74.99 for Beginner, $149.99 for Pro, $299 for Elite, and $699 for Max. Verify current pricing before subscribing.
Does QuoteIQ have a free trial?+
Yes. QuoteIQ advertises a 14-day trial for every plan. A credit or debit card is required, so record the renewal date before starting.
Can detailing customers book themselves?+
Yes, through InstaQuote and InstaSchedule, but both features are listed on Elite and Max rather than the lower three plans.
Does QuoteIQ work on iPhone, Android, and desktop?+
QuoteIQ provides iOS and Android apps plus a full browser application. The vendor says data synchronizes across the platforms.
Does QuoteIQ integrate with QuickBooks?+
QuickBooks Online integration is listed on Pro, Elite, and Max. It is not included on Essentials or Beginner.
Can I cancel QuoteIQ anytime?+
QuoteIQ says there are no contracts or cancellation fees. Cancel before renewal: its terms say renewed subscription periods are generally non-refundable. The cancellation route depends on whether you subscribed directly or through an app store.
Is QuoteIQ better than Jobber?+
QuoteIQ has a lower published entry price and built-in tools aimed at contractor quoting. Jobber may suit teams that prioritize a larger integration ecosystem and an established general field-service platform. Compare the exact plan features you need rather than the starting price alone.
METHODOLOGY
What we checked—and what we did not.
We mapped QuoteIQ’s current public feature matrix to a mobile detailing workflow: lead, estimate, package approval, scheduling, vehicle documentation, payment, review request, and repeat-service follow-up. We also checked current subscription terms, privacy information, Google Play data, and the limited G2 review record.
We did not create a paid account, process a real customer payment, measure app speed, contact support, or test data export. Those observations would require a hands-on evaluation and will not be implied by this research review.

FINAL TAKE
Test the cheapest plan that contains your real workflow.
Do not start with Elite because the feature list looks impressive. Run sample sedan, SUV, ceramic-coating, reschedule, and repeat-maintenance jobs through the lowest suitable tier. Upgrade only when a higher-tier feature replaces measurable manual work.
