QuoteIQ starts at $29.99 per month, but a mobile detailer's real price depends on photo documentation, automation, customer self-booking, team size, and AI usage.

QUICK ANSWER

QuoteIQ costs $29.99 to $699 per month.

OUR VALUE PICK FOR DETAILERSBeginner

At $74.99 per month, Beginner adds QuoteIQ Cam, inspection reports, e-signatures, review tools, and advanced analytics—the first upgrade that directly supports condition documentation and reputation follow-up.

  • Cheapest: Essentials, $29.99/month
  • Value pick: Beginner, $74.99/month
  • Automation tier: Pro, $149.99/month
  • Self-booking tier: Elite, $299/month
  • Trial: 14 days; card required

The lowest plan is not a teaser with no operating value. Essentials includes estimates, invoices, an internal calendar, online payments, and 500 monthly IQ Credits for one user. A solo detailer can run a basic quote-to-payment workflow on it.

The important catch is feature placement. Photo and inspection workflows begin on Beginner. Email and text automation, job costing, and QuickBooks begin on Pro. The customer-facing InstaQuote and InstaSchedule tools do not arrive until Elite. That makes the feature you need—not the advertised starting price—the correct way to compare QuoteIQ with alternatives.

Every listed plan includes a 14-day free trial, 24/7 support, and QuoteIQ's price-lock guarantee while the subscription remains active. QuoteIQ says you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel, but annual billing should come only after the workflow survives a real monthly test.

PLAN-BY-PLAN BREAKDOWN

What each upgrade buys a detailer.

$29.99 / MONTH

Essentials

One user gets estimates, invoices, scheduling, online payments, consumer financing, and 500 AI credits. Choose it when the problem is scattered admin—not vehicle inspections or automated customer follow-up.

$74.99 / MONTH

Beginner

Two users plus QuoteIQ Cam, inspection reports, Review Multiplier, e-signatures, expense tracking, and advanced analytics. This is our practical value tier for a serious solo detailing business.

$149.99 / MONTH

Pro

Four users plus email/text automation, in-app calling and texting, job costing, QuickBooks integration, and a website contact form. Upgrade when these features replace measurable weekly admin.

$299 / MONTH

Elite

Ten users plus InstaQuote, InstaSchedule, route optimization, dispatching, EmployeeHub, pipelines, inventory, campaigns, and time tracking. This is the first complete customer self-booking tier.

$699 / MONTH

Max

Unlimited users plus crew management, sales tracking, priority support, and the AI Website Builder. The economics generally require a larger team and a clear migration case.

THE UPGRADE RULE

Buy saved work

Do not upgrade because the next plan looks more complete. Name the manual task it removes, estimate the hours or bookings affected, and test that exact workflow before paying annually.

FEES AND TOTAL COST

The subscription is not the full budget.

QuoteIQ markets its plans as flat-rate tiers, but some business costs sit outside the subscription. That is normal for field-service software. It becomes a problem only when a buyer compares the base price while ignoring the complete workflow.

  • Card processingOnline payments run through Stripe. Processing and buy-now-pay-later fees are separate from the QuoteIQ subscription and vary by payment method.
  • AI creditsEach plan has a monthly pool. Credits reset every billing cycle and unused credits do not roll over. QuoteIQ currently lists one-time top-ups beginning at $25 for 2,500 credits.
  • Annual commitmentAnnual billing saves about two months, but it moves more cash and switching risk upfront. Validate exports, cancellation, and the daily workflow before committing.
  • Implementation timeBuilding packages, vehicle-size rules, add-ons, taxes, deposits, messages, forms, and staff permissions has a labor cost even when there is no setup fee.
  • Messaging and financeConfirm current carrier, messaging, financing, and transaction terms inside the account. Usage rules can change faster than published plan prices.
Pricing page conflict rule

If a blog post, support answer, or old screenshot disagrees with QuoteIQ's live pricing page, use the current checkout and terms as the final source. Save a copy of the price and plan features shown when you subscribe.

OUR PLAN RECOMMENDATION

Most mobile detailers should test Essentials or Beginner.

Start with Essentials when
  • You work alone
  • You primarily need estimates, invoices, a calendar, and payments
  • You can collect condition photos outside the CRM
  • You are not ready to automate customer self-booking
Start with Beginner when
  • Before-and-after documentation is part of every job
  • You sell coatings, correction, or higher-risk services
  • You want inspection reports and e-signatures
  • Automated review follow-up can support local SEO

Pro is justified by process maturity. If you already reconcile jobs in QuickBooks, track profitability, and repeatedly send the same customer messages, its $75 monthly step up from Beginner may be rational. If those workflows are not yet defined, more automation will not fix them.

Elite is justified by booking and team economics. A one-van detailer should not pay $299 merely because self-booking sounds convenient. Compare the time saved and extra jobs captured against alternatives that place online booking lower in their plan ladder. Our QuoteIQ vs Urable comparison shows why this feature gate changes the result.

BREAK-EVEN TEST

Turn the monthly fee into jobs and hours.

Use contribution margin—not revenue—to test affordability. If a maintenance detail contributes $120 after labor, chemicals, fuel, and processing, Essentials needs roughly one-quarter of one additional job per month to cover $29.99. Beginner needs about two-thirds of a job. Pro needs about one and a quarter jobs. Elite needs about two and a half.

The software can also pay back through time. Divide the monthly price by the value of one owner hour. At $50 per hour, Beginner must reliably save about 1.5 hours each month; Pro about 3 hours; Elite about 6. Those targets are achievable only when the features are configured and used.

  1. 1
    Create five sample customers

Use a sedan, SUV, truck, pet-hair interior, and coating lead.

  2. 2
    Run the full workflow

Estimate, approval, deposit, reschedule, photos, invoice, payment, and review request.

  3. 3
    Measure owner minutes

Record setup time and repeated admin, not just whether the feature exists.

  4. 4
    Test the upgrade gate

Confirm the exact plan needed for the workflow before importing real customer data.

  5. 5
    Export before paying annually

Verify customer, estimate, invoice, and job records can leave the system in a usable format.

METHODOLOGY

How we evaluated value.

We mapped QuoteIQ's official plan matrix to a US mobile-detailing workflow: lead intake, vehicle and package estimate, approval, scheduling, condition photos, payment, review request, accounting, and repeat service. We prioritized the cheapest tier that completes each workflow rather than counting total features.

Prices and feature placement can change. We did not process payments, consume AI credits, or test cancellation inside a paid account. Verify the live pricing page and checkout before subscribing.

FINAL TAKE

Start at the cheapest tier that completes the job.

Essentials is a credible $29.99 foundation. Beginner is the better fit for detailers who need vehicle documentation. Pro and Elite should be purchased only when automation or self-booking has a measurable payback.
